πŸ“£πŸ₯‡πŸ₯ˆ Skills, focus, and determination paid off for two local students who captured gold and silver at the regional Skills Canada Alberta competition and will advance to provincials next month.

Grade 11 students, Laura Friesen and Dustin Zacharias, both from Blue Hills Community School, competed last Friday in Fairview in the Cabinet Making event. Laura earned the gold medal, with Dustin close behind in silver.

Congratulations to both Laura and Dustin on your well-earned medals! FVSD will be cheering you on when you compete at provincials next month!
