Well the students have arrived in their homelands safely. After a few days in Italy they stopped in Austria and a couple days in Germany. They had visit to the Dachau memorial concentration camp and although this was tough it was impactful. Students had some questions, deep thoughts and some tears. The trip was was no vacation it was a learning tour with many steps and 12 hour days. We are so proud how they represented their communities and how they made connection to the world. Big thanks to chaperones for taking good care of them and parents for their support. While they enjoyed the adventure they all grew a bigger appreciation for home!
