We are excited to welcome our Pre-Primary children and families to our elementary schools on Friday, August 28, 2026!

Families are invited to drop in anytime between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. This is a great opportunity for you and your child to:

🍎 Meet your child’s Pre-Primary Educator
🏫 Explore their new Pre-Primary learning space
🚌 Visit a school bus and practice buckling up
😊 Become a little more familiar and comfortable before the first day!

There is no need to arrive at a specific time—simply stop by anytime between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Job Title: DRHS - Skilled Trades Teacher - Permanent 2026 (92246)

Qualifications and Experiences:

Certification of Qualification as a journeyperson in a trade recognized by the Province of Nova Scotia.
Valid Nova Scotia Teaching License or eligible to apply for a Permit to teach.
A minimum of five (5) years of recent occupational experience in that trade.
Experience in teaching adolescent students or equivalent experience as a trainer in business or industry.
