Meet our teachers in training!

Rhea is a 6 year old Paint mare. Although she grew up in a herd of wild horses in the Pemberton area, you wouldn’t guess! This flashy pony is of the friendliest nature. She is respectful, curious and trusting, yet she does demand assertive leadership from her handler. Because of her young age, Rhea is part of our "teacher in training" crew.

Luca is a 20 year old Lusitano gelding. This BIG boy, standing at nearly 17HH, is calm and inquisitive.
With his gentle eyes and funny demeanor, Luca can make the most nervous person feel comfortable in his presence.

Our little Mary is a 20 year old miniature Class B chestnut Shetland mare. She is a favorite with kids due to her loving nature and enjoys showing off her tricks for a treat or two.

Lars is a 14.2 HH 31 year old registered Norwegian Fjord gelding. Over the years, he has pulled many a wagon for weddings and in the Williams Lake Stampede. This old boy is full of vitality and loves being the center of human attention.

Starr is an 18 year old registered Icelandic horse. He is, handsdown, Mr. Congeniality of the herd, always being the first to greet any newcomer to the ranch. Starr loves the attention and he is an enthusiastic team member. He's the kind of guy that's right there with you, all the way through. No doubt, he's an EAL star!

Ayla is a 9 year old registered pure black Canadian mare with a calm rational demeanor who enjoys ANY edible treats and getting her belly scratched. Ayla is a great teacher of appropriate assertiveness.
