There is a sound and very natural way to approach planetary restoration of the earth's ecological which would support the repair of the water cycle and healthy carbon stability within a living soil layer using domestic animals in a way that mimics benefits lost from the extinct of wild herds of the bison.

I wonder if the project had been supported and the 200 acres converted to pasture which we struggled to advocate for so northern people could learn how to raise grass fed domestic meat, the healthiest diet on earth. I wonder if it would have made a difference and protected the buildings with a pasture fire break...instead they continue to build insect factories to pass as food and push a high deuterium vegan/vegetarian diet as IF it is the solution.
The earth is capable of healing with our whole heart dedication to also changing how we live and becoming part of the solution. We CAN reverse desertification with natural processes and animals.

Many farmers are pointing out various serious issues that are happening right here, right now.
08/03/2022
These are emails we recieved from someone who shared and who wrote to the Permier of the NWT regarding the attempt to shut down our farm stand based on a new created policy. The gov't employee from the health department said it is now a requirement for us to have both a permit and and licenced approved kitchen to vend farm grown and baked low risk foods. The same low risk foods which down south have been vended for decades without permits and licence.
When reflecting on these letters according to the Premier there are no farms, or just a token few, nor will there be farms in the future, because in the gov't opinion poor soil and harsh climate will prevent people from growing food.
So then WHY create a policy like this in the first place, why try to regulate a sector they think is impossible in the NWT to exist in the first place?
Who instigated the creation of of this legislation???
If the elected MLAs have the opinion that there are no farmers and never will be, why created such a policy?
Why would they approve spending time and money for a sector they don't believe exists or ever can, according to the statment from the Premier?
"The NWT does not have the soil and conditions required to grow crops"
The email thread starts on page two.
