⚽️ A HUGE thank you to everyone who helped make the Aurora Ford Soccer Tournament a success! ⚽️
It was a pleasure for DJSS to host the tournament and welcome so many students, teams, coaches, families, and community members to our school. We were proud to be part of such a great weekend of soccer and community.
A very special thank you to Aurora Ford for being the main sponsor of the tournament. Your generous support helped make this event possible and gave students a wonderful opportunity to compete and enjoy the sport.
We would also like to thank MACA for providing us with a grant to support the tournament, as well as NT School Sports for their support. We are incredibly grateful for the investment in youth, sport, and our community.
A few special shout-outs!
First, thank you Josie Farrell and all of the kitchen helpers who worked hard to feed all of the athletes and coaches throughout the weekend!
A big thank you to Vince McKay for all of his work maintaining and watering the fields, and to JJ Hirst for painting the field lines and helping get the fields ready for the tournament. We really appreciate all the work that went into making sure everything was ready to go!
And a special shout-out to our tournament organizers — Philippe Goguen, Peter Beaton, and Jason Morrissey — for all of the time, effort, and work behind the scenes to bring everything together. We truly appreciate everything you did to make the tournament happen!
And, of course, thank you to all of the coaches, officials, volunteers, staff, families, and players who gave their time and energy to make the weekend such a success.
We couldn’t have done it without all of you!
