Coach Reid doesn’t take his eyes off his students—even for a quick selfie! 😂🐴
We wrapped up last night with our final clinic of the season: Cross Country! 🌿🏇 All of our riders did an amazing job, and the horses absolutely LOVED it! ❤️
For what was supposed to be a quiet summer, we sure kept busy! We surpassed last year’s trail riding targets, increased our lesson numbers, and officially launched our training division! 🎉
We’re so excited to head into our fall season—hopefully with an offer on our farm 🤞🏼🏡—and with some Ladies’ Days coming your way very soon! 👀✨
Keep your eyes peeled… there’s lots more to come! 🐴💫

I had never worked with Standardbreds before… well, that changed a month ago when we welcomed three of them into training!
Pictured here are Sharky and Casper after a huge milestone night—their first rides off the lunge, confidently walking and trotting under saddle! 🎉
It’s been such a fun and rewarding learning experience, and I’m excited to bring my students along for the journey as these horses continue to progress. Watching them gain confidence with every ride has been incredibly rewarding.
These handsome guys will be ready to head home to their family before long, and I can’t wait to see what they accomplish next! ❤️🐴

Coach Reid kicked off Jumper Night with a very serious pre-clinic briefing. 👶☝️
He made sure everyone understood the rules:
❌ No knocking rails.
❌ No excuses.
✅ Lots of treats… for the coach, obviously.
After his stern lecture, the riders went out and absolutely delivered! Jumper Night was a huge success, and every single rider should be proud. The riding was fantastic from ALL of our ladies! 🎉🐴
Now Coach Reid says it’s time to start preparing for our Cross Country Night in August! Be sure to sign up online before spots fill up… he’s already working on his next lecture. 😉

Everyone talks about the first time squeezing back into jeans postpartum… but what about the not-so-stretchy breeches?! 😂🐴
Breeches are on, Dad is on baby duty, and it’s shaping up to be my first ride since last August! ❤️
Stay tuned… Walter photo overload is coming! 🐴✨

With back-to-back showings, lessons, and clinics in full swing, sometimes this is as good as it gets! 😅
The barn needed cleaning, it was way too hot for the carrier, and the stroller isn’t exactly his favorite thing right now. Thankfully, he’s 99% of the time the easiest little guy to have around and just goes with the flow.
And for that other 1%… I’m beyond thankful for the best clients around who don’t mind a baby interruption here and there! ❤️
Feeling pretty lucky to be back doing what I love with my little sidekick along for the ride. 🐴👶💕

A huge shoutout to my mom!
She came up with plans to spend an entire day mowing, stayed overnight, and helped with the baby so I could get through a busy teaching day. I don’t think she expected to be thrown headfirst into farm life quite so quickly!
Between flat tires, dead batteries, a broken pulley, and what felt like an endless list of machinery problems, she worked her butt off to help keep this place running and looking cared for. At 68 years old, she outworked most people half her age and never once complained.
Mom, I truly don’t know what I would do without you. Your willingness to jump in wherever you’re needed, your work ethic, and the love you show our family never go unnoticed.
We are all incredibly lucky to have you. Thank you for everything you do — we love you more than words can say. ❤️

This week’s lesson focus has been a line of canter bounces—such a great exercise for improving rhythm, balance, adjustability, and rider confidence. It’s always fun to watch horses and riders put the pieces together and see their progress from one pass to the next!
Being back teaching and spending time with our amazing riders has been exactly what I needed. While I’m still counting down the days until I can get back in the saddle myself, it’s been wonderful to be back doing what I love and cheering everyone on from the ground.
I can’t wait to be riding again soon, but until then, I’m enjoying every minute spent at the barn and watching our riders work hard and achieve their goals! 🐴✨
