Today, Mme Anderson officially paid the price for the incredible generosity of our DNV students and families!

After raising an amazing amount of money in support of the Terry Fox Foundation, students gathered to watch Mme Anderson get completely SLIMED!

The smiles, cheers, and laughter said it all. It was definitely messy, a little gooey, and a whole lot of fun, but most importantly, it was all for a great cause. Every donation helps continue Terry's dream of a world without cancer.

Thank you to our students, families, and staff for your generosity, enthusiasm, and commitment to making a difference. Together, DNV showed that big hearts can have a big impact!

The generosity of our Dawnview community continues to amaze us. Thanks to the kindness of our students, families, and staff, we were able to fill an entire cart with donations for our local food drive! 🛒❤️

Your contributions will make a meaningful difference for individuals and families in our community who are facing food insecurity. Every item donated is a reminder of the caring and compassionate spirit that makes DNV such a special place.

While we celebrate this incredible achievement, the need in our community remains great. If you are able, please consider making a direct donation to our local food bank. Financial donations help food banks purchase needed items and support those who rely on their services throughout the year.

The votes are in, the donations have been counted, and our Dawnview students have once again shown what it means to make a difference!

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our students, families, and staff, we raised an amazing amount of money in support of the Terry Fox Foundation and cancer research. Every donation helps carry forward Terry's legacy of courage, determination, and hope.

Now it's time for Mme Anderson to keep her promise and step up to the challenge! 😄

🌞💙 A big thank you to our former DNV students, now in Grades 7 and 8 at JDSS, who returned to help beautify our Buddy Bench! 💙🌞

This special bench, dedicated in memory of Barry Woods, a beloved former custodian at DNV, received a fresh new look thanks to their hard work and school spirit. The students transformed the bench by painting a beautiful DNV sun, creating a bright and welcoming space for friendship, inclusion, and connection.

We are so proud to see our former students giving back to the school community that helped shape them. Thank you for your time, talent, and kindness. Your contribution will be appreciated by DNV students for years to come!

At DNV, we believe in helping others and making a difference in our community. Our Thanksgiving Food Drive is underway, and we are encouraging families who are able to donate non-perishable food items to support local individuals and families in need.

Every donation, big or small, helps. Together, we can show our students the importance of kindness, generosity, and community service while helping ensure everyone has food on their table this Thanksgiving season.

Thank you for supporting this important initiative and for helping our DNV community make a positive impact beyond our school walls. 💙💛

Suggested donation items: canned vegetables, soup, pasta, pasta sauce, rice, cereal, peanut butter, toiletries and other non-perishable items.

Today, DNV students laced up their shoes, hit the playground, and ran in support of the incredible legacy of Terry Fox. We are so proud of our students for demonstrating perseverance, compassion, and community spirit while raising funds for cancer research.

Student donations have now been collected... and that means it's time to start wondering what will happen to Mme Anderson this year!

Rumour has it that the fundraising challenge may involve something very messy... something very sticky... and something called SLIME!

Stay tuned as we total our donations and reveal the grand slime-filled plan. Thank you to our DNV families for supporting this important cause and helping our students make a difference.

📣 Check Those Backpacks Tonight! 📣

Dawnview families, be sure to check your child's backpack this evening! Each student has received a FREE ticket to the International Ploughing Match, taking place just outside of Walkerton.

While the ticket is marked "Day 2," it is actually valid for all remaining days of the fair, giving your family plenty of opportunities to attend.

The International Ploughing Match is a wonderful chance to experience agriculture, local food, entertainment, exhibits, and community spirit right here in our region. We hope you have the opportunity to enjoy this amazing event together as a family!
