This little one is learning new skills everyday! In the past few weeks since he started, he has learned to stand, walk, and now easily get on and off the ride on toys. He spent most of yesterday's, and this morning's outdoor time climbing on and off. Many times he lost his balance, got a leg caught, and ultimately was unsuccessful. He never gave up, and never seemed to get frustrated. Each time he tried again, he learned something about where and how to position himself. When he was finally able to climb on easily, he clapped, and gave the biggest, cheekiest, and proudest grin ever.
Sometimes learning is easy to spot, like in this example. Sometimes you need to have a bit more understanding of child development to see the learning. No matter the case though, know your child is ALWAYS learning something while they play.
