✨Let me re-introduce myself!✨

We have grown so much over the past two years, I thought it would be a good time to re-introduce myself!

I’m Cassandra Johnson the founder of Advocate Little Minds. I have worked with children for the past 14 years through being an ECE to now going into my fourth year of teaching come September. I originally began Advocate Little Minds 5 years ago travelling to and from students homes. Two years ago and I opened up the centre currently located on the lower level of Vicki’s Sandbox Daycare! It’s been just over two years since we opened the doors and I couldn’t be more excited about moving into our third Summer! I’m so fortunate to be able to connect with so many students across Grey-Bruce! Since I was a little girl I knew I wanted to be a teacher, but better yet I get to connect with more than just students in my classroom.

Being a teacher is difficult, our system is under funded, we truly make the best out of the situation we are given. Tutoring has helped me slow down and really try and focus on building relationships with every student I work with. I may not have it all figured out and I never will. Being a great educator means being a lifelong learner. I am very open that I don’t have it all mapped out. However, that’s why students connect with me, because I have flaws and I don’t try and hide them. At Advocate Little Minds we grow together! 🤍📚✏️
