Nineteen years. It feels like a lifetime and a blink all at once when I think about my time with Darryl. We leaned on each other through so much, we were blending together a family and lifestyles, I was there for him when his mom got sick and we needed to move in to take care until she passed, and he was there for me when I lost my mom and then my dad. We always joked I'd go before him, and now... now I'm facing the impossible task of learning how to navigate life without him.

I still smile remembering the day my 16-year-old daughter, with all her teenage wisdom, announced she was setting me up on a date. My first outing with Darryl was, to put it mildly, a bit of a disaster. He was so quiet and nervous, the complete opposite of me, and I honestly thought that would be the end of it. But my friends, bless them, convinced me to give it another shot. And oh, am I glad I did. The second date was a revelation. He charmed me completely with his humor and endless, fascinating stories, even if he called them 'useless trivia.' I loved every single one.

Darryl first started working for a driving school in 2006. By 2009, I'd gotten my instructor license and started working part-time, fueled by a new dream.
Then, in September 2012, we took the leap and opened our very own driving school. It was *our* adventure, a united effort that started with just three students. But it wasn't long before we were both working full-time, building something special together.
Every night, we'd share the funniest (and sometimes scariest!) stories from our days in the car, laughing and commiserating. Those memories are so precious to me.

Darryl and I poured our hearts into building Savvy Driving School, and it was a venture we both deeply cherished. Moving forward, I am fully committed to honoring the legacy we created and ensuring its continued success. While this journey will undoubtedly present challenges, I am confident that with the unwavering support of my family, friends, and the wonderful community we've cultivated, brighter days are ahead. We built this together, and I will carry our vision forward, one lesson at a time.

It is with deep regret that we announce a recent bereavement within the Savvy Driving School family. We have made every effort to contact all affected clients directly. Consequently, all July lessons have been cancelled. We will not be accepting new clients at this time. We anticipate reaching out to those whose lessons were cancelled at the beginning of August to reschedule. We kindly request privacy during this difficult period. Our thoughts and prayers are with the two individuals currenlty hospitalized.

Our next classrooms dates will be in May and July. We are offering two weekends in May, the 2nd 3rd 9th and 10th. In July we are offering four days in a row, the 6th-9th. Classes fill fast so book your seat now. Want to start sooner and work at your own pace? We also offer the option an online course.

Our March Break class will run from the 16th-19th. Want to start earlier? Sign up for our online class and study at your own convenience and pace.

We are offering a two weekend class in October running the 18th, 19th and 25th, 26th. In December we are offering another class that runs the 22nd, 23rd and 29th, 30th. As always, we also offer the option of an online course, the freedom of working at your own pace.
