Happy International Dance Day 💜
For over a year, this space has been my studio, my work place, my stage and my place of growth.
You can never keep the dancer from dancing. To everyone in the dance community navigating through this tough year: I send you love, I hear you..one day we will return to the stage bigger and brighter than ever..keep dancing!
To the art form that has given me so much, taught me so much, saved me so much... I am eternally grateful [Thank you dance.]
Dance is more than just “moving rhythmically to music”, it is more than just “a sequence of movement.”
Dance is freedom.
Dance is an expression of emotion, in the most human way, by moving. Dance is discovery, of self and of the collaborative.
Dance is celebrating moments; it is joyful, it is passionate, it is hopeful, it is happiness.
Dance is fighting our fears; it is working right through it, it is facing and shedding demons, it is bravery.
Dance is connection; of self, of fellow dancers, teachers, mentors, choreographers and audiences. For a fleeting moment, we are all connected for a moment in time.
Dance is every human emotion, but above all, it is love.
Sending the biggest love to every single dancer, teacher, mentor, dance partner, choreographer, student, parent and audience member I have had the pleasure of dancing with and for. Thank you for being a part of my journey. Keep dancing anywhere and everywhere you can!

So Excited- Janet Jackson
I loved this one! Yaaas Danny for bringing us some Janet Jackson. I’ve always been a big Janet fan since I was a kid! Velvet Rope and Rhythm Nation CDs on repeat! My little stereo, closed door, making up my own dances in my room. (DM me if you don’t know what a CD is 🤣🤣).
And here we are, years later 😍

What’s on this week..
Join me for 30mins of moving and dance fitness!
This week we will continue working on lower body toning & strengthening with some of my favourite ballet exercises on Tuesday at 7:30pm. Feel the burn with me🔥
Friday is all about weekend vibes! Work up a sweat with some fun, simple dance fitness and then we take it to the floor for some ab work!
*Bring light weights, soup cans or water bottles to class for an extra challenge*
