The event week celebrating the anniversary of the expansion of Waterdown District High School. The proceedings will include a mentorship program in the school for Waterdown students, watch for more events! HCHY, the Optimist club, the Rotary Club, and parent/school volunteers are planning the event as well as generous sponsors and mentors.

The WDHS History Museum will be open from Monday, November 6 to Friday, November 10 from 11 am to 1 pm and Wednesday, November 8 from 5 p to 8 pm.
Please take time to visit this excellent display curated by WDHS students under the direction of Mr. Flosman.
The museum has alumni photos from the 1930s and 1950s if you or someone you know graduated in those years or your parents did please drop by the museum this week and fill in some of the names of people that you know.

Longtime Waterdown District High School phys ed head Warrick set to retire After 34 years of teaching – 23 of them as the head of phys ed at WDHS – John Warrick is calling it a career. The 58-year-old teacher will retire at the end of the school year.
Homecoming week football game on Thursday October 15 against McNabb - come out and support our Warriors!
Speaker program is coming up for Homecoming week - 4 days right after Thanksgiving. If you're interested in participating please contact me. If you know of anyone who would like to speak with our students pass them along.

Guy Brown is hosting a Career Day on Thursday January 29th from
9 a.m. to 1 pm at WDHS. If anyone is interested in setting up a booth we would love to host you there. We are having all the grade 7 and 8s from the feeder schools.
