Today we celebrate international womens day! And to all the amazing women working at Jamesville Bennetto thank you for all your hard work! Because of you we are able to provide, educate and support all of our children in our program! 💚

The significant snowfall in Hamilton has ended, however, it continues to restrict travel on Thursday, January 26th. Road conditions for side streets are snow covered and icy. Buses are not running. As such, schools, child care centres and administrative buildings are closed. i.e. Jamesville Bennetto located in Bennetto Elementary closed is CLOSED.

Please note that as per our fee policy, this is a paid day for child care.

Our St. Lawrence Before & After School Location:

Parents and guardians,

Student transportation is cancelled, however, all schools and offices are open.

Our child care program located in St Lawrence Elementary School is open for the morning and MAY be closed this afternoon.

Should we decide to close the program for children and staffs' safety, staff will call all families as they will be responsible to pick their children up from school at dismissal time.

Hamilton Catholic District School Board inclement weather alert: Due to the upgraded winter storm warning for the City of Hamilton, all schools, adult and continuing education centres, and child care centres of the HWCDSB will be closed tomorrow, Friday, December 23, 2022.
The HWCDSB Virtual School will operate as usual. In-person students will have the opportunity to participate in asynchronous learning by logging onto their online classroom. Work will be posted on the myClass LMS by
10 a.m.
Administrative buildings will also be closed and staff will transition to work from home.
The decision to close is always difficult, however, given the severe weather forecast, we felt it was prudent to keep students and staff safe.

Schools and childcare centres will be closed on Fri., Dec. 23, 2022, as a result of the major winter storm warning issued by Environment Canada. The Hamilton-Wentworth Student Transportation Services (HWSTS) has cancelled buses, and as a result, schools will be closed.
