More support for families in Clayton Park West and across Halifax.

I was pleased to share that the provincial and federal governments are investing nearly $2 million to help Silver Crescent Academy Society relocate and expand its child care centre to Bayers Lake Business Park.

The new location at 155 Chain Lake Drive will increase capacity from 71 spaces to up to 120 spaces for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.

As our communities continue to grow, access to affordable, high quality, and inclusive child care remains essential for working families. These new spaces will support parents, strengthen our workforce, and help children learn and thrive in a nurturing environment.

A big thank you to the dedicated team at Silver Crescent Academy Society for their commitment to children and families through faith, creativity, and excellence.

This is another important step forward in building stronger communities and supporting the future of Nova Scotia.
