Internationally trained pharmacists are arriving in Canada, and helping tackle pharmacy shortages in NovaScotia.

Through our innovative pilot, in partnership with the Nova Scotia Pharmacy Regulator, displaced pharmacy graduates living in Jordan are now able to continue their careers while supporting communities facing healthcare gaps in .

Des pharmacien·ne·s formé·e·s à l'international et nouvel·le·s arrivant·e·s au Canada contribuent à répondre aux pénuries de services pharmaceutiques en Nouvelle-Écosse.

Grâce à un projet pilote novateur mené en partenariat avec le Régulateur des pharmacies de la Nouvelle-Écosse, des diplômé·e·s en pharmacie ayant été déplacé·e·s et vivant actuellement en Jordanie peuvent désormais poursuivre leur carrière tout en soutenant des communautés confrontées à des besoins urgents en soins de santé dans la province.

Being part of WUSC local committees is not only making impacts on life of refugees, creating awareness on Girls’ education and empowerment, but it’s so much more!! 😁

Being part of our local committee give our members the chance to travel and participate in trainings and forums that help them develop skills to run the committee and grow their knowledge.
