Meet Mitsezu Munger from South Sudan. In 2009 our volunteers in Sudan met with Mitsezu on a local refugee camp. She assisted with feeding refugees and proving them with support on local farming. Based on her dedication our volunteers introduced her to our program. Like many people who comes in contact with us first, she was afraid and wondered why will a reputation organization charge soo low for their services. She thought it was one of those internet scams! For two weeks she refused to talk to our volunteers and pick up our calls.

Three months later when our volunteers arrived back into Canada, they made that one call that have changed the life of this young woman.

This summer, she earned a PHD in Medical Physics from the University of Alberta. Let us congratulate Ms. Mitsezu Munger as she returns to Sudan to work for the United Nations.
