Receive salary support to integrate both scholarship and clinical care into your residency and develop the research skills and experience required to become a clinician researcher!
The Dr. Patrick Madore Clinical Investigator Traineeship Program provides you with structured and extensive research training β during your residency.
The training can be completed part-time over more than one year (e.g., half time for two years). This format will allow for accommodation of the cyclical nature of research/scholarship (preparing grant applications, ethics applications, and/or manuscript submissions, along with wait periods, etc.), while allowing you to maintain your Family Medicine competencies.
Selected participants are free to choose a research project in the discipline that best suits their future plans.
