DMS does weddings too! Congratulations to Mateo and Maryanne who were married at Shirreff Hall on Saturday, August 5th. Both Mateo and Maryanne work at Dalhousie as Assistant Directors of Facilities. They are shown here with DMS United Church of Canada Campus Minister, Rev. Robyn Brown-Hewitt, who officiated their ceremony.

"Compassionate Global Citizens: A Multifaith Panel."
Each term, our "World Religions: What You Need To Know" class can attend a multi-perspective panel as one of their experiential learning options. This term, we are delighted to open the panel to everyone, thanks to generous funding from the RSC Atlantic!
We are excited to welcome in person and by Zoom six expert panellists from various faith backgrounds: Abdallah Yousri, Laura Gallo, Christine Jamieson, Rongdao Lai, Doug Stewart, Philip Szporer. They will reflect on the question of whether a shared ethic of compassion could be a solution to global division and crisis, and you'll have a chance to pose questions to them. Come in person and enjoy light refreshments beforehand, or join by Zoom webinar (link below)
