As part of our project with the Youth Climate Action Fund, we are offering a food dehydration program for our members!
Dehydrating food allows for preservation and durability of otherwise perishable foods. It’s a great way to pack food for camping, and increase the lifespan of foods to decrease waste! It also makes for light packing and tasty snacks.
If you’d like to get some food dehydrated with DOS, fill out the form in our Linktree, and we will get back to you to confirm dates for drop off and pickup! 🍓🥕🥦
PLEASE NOTE: The dehydrated is not guaranteed to be safe from any allergens. It is NOT gluten free, dairy free, nut free, etc. Cross contamination is likely. The program IS vegetarian, and will not accept any requests to dehydrate meat products, nor will there be contact with meat products through the use of the dehydrator.
