Yesterday, we held our High School Graduation Ceremony, celebrating the achievements of our graduating Class of 2026, alongside the recognition of our awardees from Grades 9 to 11.

As we reflect on this milestone, we celebrate not only accomplishments, but also the growth, memories, and experiences that have shaped our students into who they are today. We look forward with pride and hope as they move forward into new opportunities and challenges ahead.

Today's graduate spotlight is on Gabriel Watt!

For the past 4 years, Gabriel has been a valued member of the HCA community, known for his determination and commitment to excellence. Gabriel has been actively involved in both the Engineering Club and the high school basketball team.

As he prepares for the next chapter, Gabriel is considering two exciting opportunities: pursuing a Mechatronics Engineering degree at University of Waterloo or a Mechanical-Computer Engineering degree at Dalhousie University. Both pathways reflect his passion for innovation, problem-solving, and engineering.

Gabriel, congratulations on this important milestone! May He continue to guide your decisions, bless your journey, and lead you toward the plans He has prepared for you.

Today's graduate spotlight is on Elliott Herod!

Elliott is known for his outgoing personality and willingness to get involved in school life. Throughout his time at HCA, he has participated in the student leadership team and the Apologetics Club, contributing to the school community in various ways.

He has also been a familiar face in many of our drama productions over the years, bringing energy and enthusiasm to each performance. Whether on stage or in soccer games, Elliott's presence has been a memorable part of the HCA life.

As he looks toward the future, Elliott has been accepted into the International Business Management program at Dalhousie University and the Sports Management program at Saint Mary's University where he received admission scholarship.

Our graduate spotlight today shines on Lucy Myatt!

Lucy is a bright, diligent, and thoughtful student whose quiet strength has been evident throughout her 3 years at HCA. She has also been an active member of the drama club, where her talent shone and have been a valued part of our school productions.

After graduation, Lucy will be taking a gap year as she seeks God's direction for the next season of her life. She looks forward to the opportunities, growth, and experiences that this year may bring, trusting that God will continue to guide her steps.

Today, we're celebrating Regan Hudson!

Regan is known for his creative and fun-loving personality. Having been at HCA for 6 years, and he has been an active and valued member of our school community. His upbeat attitude and willingness to connect with others have made him a well-liked and memorable part of school life.

After graduation, Regan will be pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Entrepreneurship at Saint Mary's University. He has also earned an admissions scholarship.

Regan, congratulations on your graduation! We are proud of all you have accomplished and look forward to seeing all that you will achieve in the years ahead.

Today's graduate spotlight shines on Levi Riley!

Levi is known for his funny, creative, and kind personality. Having been at HCA for 13 years, Levi has grown up within our school community, building lasting relationships and leaving a memorable mark on both classmates and staff.

After graduation, Levi will be pursuing a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation as he prepares to enter the insurance field. Inspired by his parents and their work, he looks forward to joining them in the industry and building a career where he can grow alongside them. He hopes to enjoy life fully, gain meaningful experiences, and make the most of every opportunity ahead.

For the past four years, Hannah has been a valued member of the HCA community. She is known for her curious mind, fun-loving spirit, and unique way of looking at the world. During her time at HCA, Hannah has been actively involved in the Drama Club, Badminton Team, and Board Game Club.

After graduation, Hannah plans to study Business Administration at Nova Scotia Community College before continuing her education with a Bachelor's degree in Business at Saint Mary's University. We are excited to see how her curiosity will help her succeed in the years ahead.

Today's graduate spotlight is on Jola Ogunbosi!

Jola is known for his caring, outgoing, and spontaneous personality. As a member of the student leadership team, he has brought enthusiasm and energy to the school. His willingness to get involved and connect with others made him a valued part of the HCA community. Whether helping with events or competing in sports, Jola brings a steady presence for those around him.

After graduation, Jola will pursue a Bachelor of Commerce at Dalhousie University. We are excited to see how his leadership skills, enthusiasm, and determination will continue to grow as he begins this next chapter.

What a fantastic Field Day we had last Friday! Our elementary students had a blast moving through different fun stations, and it was wonderful to see so much teamwork and joy throughout the afternoon. ☀️
