Recent grads - worried about student loan payments? Are you a spring 2022 grad about to start repayment in November?

Our Repayment Assistance Programs can help with your Nova Scotia and Canada loans until you've landed your dream job or achieve a more secure financial footing. Plus, using RAP does NOT reduce your credit rating . . . but it can help keep your loan up to date and in good standing while you're unable to pay.

First, apply for RAP online through the National Student Loans Service Centre by logging in to your secure http://NSLSC.ca account and selecting “Repayment Assistance Plan” under “My Account” and clicking on “Apply On-Line Now.” You will be notified once your application has been processed.

Then, if you have a Nova Scotia Loan, an approved RAP application through NSLSC is also applied to your NS Loan automatically.

RAP eligibility lasts six months. If you need more time, or need to use RAP later on, reapply the same way for another 6 months.
