NSCC Institute of Technology Campus

A meaningful new addition has found its place on our campus.

Tomorrow, we will formally unveil this sign bearing a Mi'kmaw message that translates to:

"To honor all Indian Residential School survivors and to commemorate those who did not make it home."

As we approach the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, this marker stands as a visible commitment to remembering the truths of our shared history, honouring Survivors, and recognizing the children who never returned home.

We are grateful for the opportunity to learn, reflect, and walk the path of Reconciliation together.

We encourage all NSCC IT Community members to wear orange on September 29 as we honour the day at our campus.

We love this new way to honour graduates!

Celebrate your grad in a meaningful way with a tribute card🎓💙

NSCC Foundation is piloting a new initiative at Cumberland, Truro, Kingstec, Lunenburg, Ivany, Institute of Technology and Akerley convocations. With a suggested minimum donation of $10, you can get an exclusive tribute card to mark their big day and represent a gift made in their honour.

All proceeds go to NSCC Rapid Response, helping the next wave of learners reach this important milestone. Not attending one of these convocations? You can still make a gift in honour of your grad at support.nscc.ca/rapidresponse 💌
