We are pleased to announce the success of our 2026 Tax Clinic! After a busy two days, 35 volunteers, and much dedication, we are happy to share that this year’s clinic helped over 70 people.
A wonderful thank you to our Tax Clinic Coordination team Chloe Kerton, Veronica Robinson, Kyla Chislom, Jenny Zhang, and Zach Holroyd. And a special shoutout to our fabulous volunteers who made this possible!

The Canadian Tax Foundation Halifax Young Practitioners’ Steering Committee invites you to attend a complimentary networking event. Enjoy refreshments and appetizers while connecting with tax practitioners from across Nova Scotia.
This event is intended for students who are actively pursuing careers in tax, as well as those who are interested in learning more about what a career in tax entails. Students will have the opportunity to meet and ask questions of tax practitioners with a wide range of specialties and experience levels. You will gain insight into potential career paths as a tax professional and hear about practitioners’ personal experiences in the field.

Join us at our upcoming BDO Games & Sushi Night! The event will include games such as cards, “Sorry”, and puzzles. It’s taking place on Friday, January 30th at 5:00 pm in the Rowe room 1014.
There will be BDO staff from assurance, tax, business service outsourcing will be there! Excite your evening even further as BDO Campus Ambassadors will also be there to share their co-op experiences and answer questions.
