As part of the Sustainable Ocean Conference 2024, our organizing committee looked to raise money through fundraising events to support committee organizations. We are excited to announce that we have raised $860 this year to donate toward the Canadian Maritime Heritage Foundation and support the Maritime Museum of the Atlanticโ€™s Boat School and boat building initiatives. Their work promotes education, environmental stewardship, and community engagement through a three day workshop on traditional boat building that spurs hands-on and community-based learning.
