Today marks the first day of HRM's pro-active street tree pruning program. Trees along University Avenue, between Robie and South Park Street, were the first to receive treatments that will improve tree health and form. As seen in the photo below, skilled arborists can ensure that tree limbs avoid contact with power and communications lines.
