We’re looking for passionate, dedicated students to be part of BTS from September 2025 to April 2026 📚 think that’s you? Make sure you meet the eligibility below before applying:
Ready to apply? Follow these steps:
1. Prepare your resume/CV 📇+ a 500+ word essay which includes the following:
- Your Name, Your University Pathway, and your expected graduation date.
- The position you're applying for.
- Why you will be a good fit for the position as well as your relevant past experiences which make you suitable for the position.
- A list of ideas/activities (including ideas for fundraising) you intend to pursue in the position that will benefit the society.
2. Email 📧 both to [email protected] (include the position you’re applying for in your message)
3. Wait for a confirmation email from us ✅— if you don’t get one, reply to your own email so we can catch it!

• Must be available Sept 2025–April 2026
• Not eligible if you’re on an off-campus co-op 💼 unless you’re sharing the role with someone on the opposite term & have a clear succession plan

This past weekend, MSVU Business and Tourism students had the incredible opportunity to compete in the CPA Nova Scotia Education Foundation (foundation.cpans.ca) sponsored case competition, Tony’s Chocolonely!
Students were challenged to find the best way to maximize Tony’s Chocolonely’s social impact, combat child labor, and advance sustainability efforts.
Our Business and Tourism Society members were thrilled to participate in this exciting event. A special shoutout to our Co-VP of Events, for winning Best Speaker an amazing achievement!
Congratulations to Team Abdul and Mahfuza for their outstanding presentation, Team Britt, Warren, and Stefan, for securing second place, and Team Karla, Victoria, Mikayla, and Abbey for taking home first place!
A huge thank you to the faculty, judges, and organizers for their dedication and hard work in making this event a success. We appreciate everyone who participated and contributed to such a fantastic competition!
