CanPath and Atlantic PATH are dedicated to supporting equitable screening guidelines, so women of all racial and ethnic backgrounds have the resources and support needed to prevent, diagnose and treat breast cancer.
With data from over 330,000 participants across the country and a $3M grant from the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) to support its work, CanPath’s team of researchers are supporting the development of new breast cancer screening guidelines that will be informed by racial and ethnic data to ensure applicability to our diverse Canadian population.
