A bit about us:
Grounded Child Development Society (GCDS), a partner organization of CSAP, is looking for Lead Outdoor Educators and Outdoor Educators for our after-school program, Coureurs d'la Forêt, in the Halifax area.
GCDS exists to rethink childhood - building programs that put kids' curiosity and independence back at the centre, instead of another screen or another rigid, adult-run activity. Coureurs d'la Forêt is our first step: an after-school program that gets kids outside and immersed in nature, with trained educators guiding real skill-building, hands-on challenges, and outdoor exploration.
This isn't a job for someone who wants to stand back and watch the clock. Our educators get in the dirt with the kids - following their questions, feeding their curiosity, and finding as much wonder in a rotten log or a beetle as the children do. They're not supervising from a distance; they're genuinely present, genuinely engaged, and they leave each shift as energized as the kids do.

Lead Educator
You'll guide our program on the ground — leading activities, mentoring fellow educators, and setting the tone for a space where kids feel safe, challenged, and excited to learn.
