June is National Indigenous History Month, and June 21st is National Indigenous Peoples Day. We join communities across Canada in celebrating Indigenous cultures and traditions. Held on the summer solstice, the longest day of the year, this day has long been a time of renewal, connection, and celebration for many Indigenous Peoples.

June is Pride month, celebrating the diversity, strength and contributions of 2SLGBTQIA+ communities. We also recognize the Disability Pride Flag and have it on display at our Central Office, it’s a symbol of the resilience, diversity and pride of people with disabilities. Together, Pride Month and Disability Pride remind us that everyone deserves to be seen, respected and included.
