🌱 Introducing the Certified Sustainability Project Professional (CSPP™)
Climate disasters cost the world over US$200 billion in 2024, making resilience and sustainability more important than ever.
PMI’s new CSPP™ certification equips project professionals with the skills to identify risks, drive business value, and deliver successful outcomes in a world of constant change.
PMI research involving 10,000+ project professionals found that sustainability is the #1 predictor of project success.
With only 1 in 5 professionals able to deliver sustainable outcomes today, CSPP™ helps close that gap.
Disruption is inevitable. Make resilience your advantage.

🌍 **Leading Through Complexity: The Power of Systems Thinking**
Today's sustainability challenges don't have simple solutions. They require us to see the bigger picture, understand interconnected systems, and collaborate across sectors to create meaningful, lasting change.
Join us for an inspiring **Lunch & Learn** with **Mita**, Sustainability Consultant, Facilitator, and Keynote Speaker, as she explores how **systems thinking** can help leaders navigate complexity and design solutions that address root causes—not just symptoms.
Drawing on more than 15 years of global experience across Asia, Europe, North America, and Africa, Mita has partnered with organizations including Unilever, IKEA, Shell, and Mastercard to embed sustainability into business strategy. Her work spans inclusive growth initiatives in India, circular economy projects in South Africa, and leadership development that helps individuals and organizations align purpose with impact.
During this session, Mita will share a compelling real-world case study on **plastic waste and inclusive recycling in South Africa**, demonstrating how systems mapping, stakeholder collaboration, and community-driven innovation created measurable social and environmental outcomes.
Whether you're a project professional, sustainability practitioner, leader, or someone passionate about creating positive change, this session will offer practical insights into leading through complexity with purpose.

PMI Nova Scotia was proud to participate in the 2026 Halifax Pride Parade in downtown Halifax.
Although our group was small, our enthusiastic team proudly represented the project management community, celebrating diversity, inclusion, and belonging alongside thousands of participants and spectators.
This year’s parade marked another successful opportunity to demonstrate that project management is about more than delivering projects—it is about building stronger communities, fostering meaningful connections, and creating inclusive environments where everyone belongs.
A sincere thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day such a success. We also extend our appreciation to Halifax Pride https://ow.ly/uQHw50ZsW1n for organizing another outstanding community event.
We look forward to participating again next year!
