CALL FOR APPLICATIONS : THE GONZAGO INSTITUTE

The Gonzago Institute will offer a tuition-free 3-month certificate program hosted by The Khyber Centre for the Arts and existing as part of the Khyber’s programming for the term of the certificate’s duration. The program is aimed at artists between 19 and 35 to assist in their professional, practical and conceptual development, with a basis on three main components:

PRACTICE THEORY COMMUNITY

The Gonzago Institute’s pilot certificate program will begin
January 15, 2016.

The instructors of theory and practice will determine regular meeting times with students over the course of the 3-month period. Weekly, all students and instructors will come together for a symposium to discuss one another’s progress. Symposia will take place at the Khyber in coordination with its programming schedule.

5 students will be selected for the pilot program. To be eligible, applicants must:

• be between the ages of 19 and 35 years old
• live in the vicinity of the HRM
• not be a current full-time student
