Monday = ! ✨
Today’s theme is
Sure, dolls are creepy, but what about ? Lots of eyes to watch you, lots of legs to scurry on, and even some giant mandibles to make it extra creepy.
Reaching a diameter of five to six centimeters, Canada’s largest spider (Dolomedes scriptus) is often found on the underside of wharves. It hunts live prey, including insects – even some small fish – by sensing vibrations in the surface tension of the water. Wharf Spiders are not web spinners so females actually carry their egg sacs with them.
…and we love them. We don’t think you’re creepy, eight legged friend. 🕷️
Be sure to check out our family of sites to see how they’re showing off their creepiest objects today.
