Luba's Dayhome This is a page made for Luba's Nursery in Beaver Bank Nova Scotia. I am an ECE with level 3. And I ran my family childcare setting in Calgary for 12 years.

I have worked for more than 6 years in several licensed daycares, both in Alberta and Nova Scotia. I am also the wife to a wonderful husband, Peter, who provides a strong support for my business. We have raised three children, who are now grown and no longer live with us. Now we only have our animal children at home, including one dog and a couple of chickens. We moved to Nova Scotia in 2017, to enjoy a slower pace of life with a garden and a little orchard. I have worked in a local daycare for more than 4 years. Recently, I have started to miss my own dayhome and I made the decision to reopen it. My vision for my dayhome is to create a stress-free setting for a small group of children (max. 4 children), with close connection to the natural world. I enjoy cooking, baking, and gardening and wish to use these talents to benefit the children in my care. My goal as a caregiver is to blend the qualities of a loving grandma and an experience daycare teacher. As a licensed dayhome, I will be able to accept subsidy, as well as the parent reduced fee reduction grant.
