Meet our Entrepreneur Career Week Panelist Natalie Gilson - CEO, Pisces Ocean Inc.

Natalie Gilson is CEO of Pisces Oceans Inc., an ocean project consultancy based in Nova Scotia that provides strategic communications and project support for marine science and ocean innovation. Pisces works with researchers, startups, nonprofits, and funded consortia to turn complex science and technology into compelling stories, competitive proposals, and well-run projects.

Natalie leads the company's vision, brand, communications, and business development. Her path into the ocean sector hasn’t been linear. Starting with an early career in Art History and Archaeology, she then founded and ran a creative agency for nearly a decade before officially moving into ocean communications. Her combination of art, anthropology, strategic training and creative agency experience shapes how Pisces works: grounded in science, practical about strategy, and focused on communication that generates impact. Natalie and the Pisces team are passionate about the power of ocean storytelling and are working on several initiatives, including podcasts and courses, to that end.

Natalie serves as Board Advisor to Map the Gaps and is a Board Director for the Whale Research Collective. On the entrepreneurship side, she brings direct experience building and maintaining two service-based businesses in challenging sectors where funding cycles, research timelines, and market opportunities rarely line up.

Meet our Marketing Career Week Panelist Chantelle Percival – Director, Marketing, Loyalty & Retail Development, NSLC.

Chantelle Percival is Director, Marketing, Loyalty & Retail Development at the Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation (NSLC), where she leads a diverse team responsible for shaping how Nova Scotians experience the organization across both physical and digital channels.

Her portfolio brings together marketing, brand and creative services, loyalty, e-commerce and digital experience, alongside retail network planning, capital development and facilities. Together, these teams influence everything from how the NSLC connects with shoppers and brings its brand to life, to how stores are designed, built, maintained and evolved for the future.

With 15 years of experience spanning beverage alcohol, cannabis and retail, Chantelle has built her career by taking on increasingly broad leadership roles and navigating complex periods of growth and change. She is passionate about building strong teams, developing people and creating the clarity and trust that allow others to do their best work.

About the NSLC
The NSLC is Nova Scotia’s largest retailer, leading the responsible sale of beverage alcohol and cannabis, serving communities across the province through its retail network and growing digital channels. The organization balances commercial performance with its responsibility to deliver safe, responsible and engaging shopper experiences.

Meet our Entrepreneur Career Week Panelist Tonya Lundrigan - Owner, Organizational Development Strategist, Priority Learning and Development.

Tonya Lundrigan is the Owner of Priority Learning & Development, an Atlantic Canadian company dedicated to helping leaders, teams, and organizations build the skills needed to thrive in today’s rapidly changing workplace.

With more than 30 years of experience in organizational effectiveness, talent management, learning and development, with nine years in the hospitality industry, Tonya brings a practical, results-focused approach to leadership development. She has worked with thousands of professionals across the public, private, and not-for-profit sectors, helping organizations strengthen leadership capacity, improve workplace productivity, enhance customer experiences, and drive sustainable performance.

Tonya is a Certified Leadership and Performance Coach through Canada Coach Academy and is pursuing her Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential with the International Coaching Federation. She is also a two-time graduate of Mount Saint Vincent University, with additional studies at Saint Mary’s University and Memorial University of Newfoundland.

Observed on September 30 each year, the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation (also known as Orange Shirt Day) is a day to honour the children who never returned home from residential schools, the Survivors, their families and communities. It's a day for education, reflection and action to advance Truth and Reconciliation – a time set aside to learn about the history and multi-generational trauma caused by colonization.

MSVU will be closed on September 30 to mark the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. The following day, October 1, is Treaty Day and the start of Mi’kmaw History Month in Nova Scotia.

Ashleigh Kuniski is the co-founder of Mira Media Agency, a full-service paid media agency based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Ashleigh has 11 years of experience in paid media, including roles at 4 different agencies both locally and internationally. She noticed a gap in the agency world that led to the start of Mira Media. Traditional media planning agencies focused on deep research and strategy development, but would let campaigns sit stagnant once uploaded. Performance marketing agencies jumped right into optimizations, without a strategic foundation to guide them. Mira Media blends both traditional media planning and performance marketing, combining deep research and strategy with continued optimization once a campaign goes live.

Mira Media plans advertising campaigns utilizing both digital media and traditional media placements. Mira Media is industry-agnostic and has a variety of clients across the globe within the industries of healthcare, education, tourism, CPG, software-as-a-service, and more.

Ashleigh is passionate about building an agency that proves paid media can be both rigorous and human. The agency's mandate is to not only deliver excellent results for their clients, but to also be a phenomenal employer.

Meet our Accounting / Finance Career Week Panelist Arshleen Kaur – Financial Advisor-Healthcare, RBC.

I am a Financial Advisor at RBC with about 6 years of experience across banking, strategy, and financial advisory. I have had the opportunity to work within two specialized areas at RBC Newcomer and Healthcare, where I have supported strategic initiatives, client growth, and relationship development. I am currently working on My PFP designation.

I am MSVU alumna, having completed a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in accounting and minor in Finance. During my time at MSVU, I also served as a Communication Coordinator and Student Liaison with the Residence O􀆯ice, an experience that strengthened my communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills and provided a strong foundation for my transition into financial services.

I have progressed through diverse roles at RBC, driving client impact, strategic initiatives, and leadership through mentorship and community engagement.
