thanks SO very much to everyone who contributed to the event - our performers, the most lively audience , 50/50 ticket & merch buyers, sanctuary art centre staff, the folks at our sound tech , friends who help set up and tear down, local news networks who covered the event, and anyone who shared our posts the past few weeks.

The arts are essential - surely we’re not still debating that in 2026? Human connection is essential - surely we’re not still cutting programs that foster belonging in 2026? Education is essential - surely we’re not making it harder for young people to learn and grow into thoughtful, effective members of our (crumbling) society in 2026?

OH WAIT.

This budget is a disgrace. We’ve got to keep connecting, making music, and supporting our most vulnerable. Call your MLA. Write letters. We’ll be at the protest on Wednesday, we hope you will too. We’ll also be continuing to make music with friends and neighbours, and doing our best to foster the next generation of music makers and citizens.
