SUMMER SAILING FOR YOUTH!

AYC Sailing School has 1 and 2-week programs for youth taking place in July and August. Our programs focus on hands-on learning, safety and FUN! It's one of the best way for kids to spend the summer -- on the water, making new friends and learning while doing!

No matter their age or skill level, our Junior Sailing programs can help them learn or improve their sailing skills and knowledge in a safe, welcoming atmosphere in central Halifax.

We offer tender service to the Halifax peninsula to help families with drop off and pick up :)

DM us if you have any questions; we'd be happy to answer them!

We are excited to have Atlantic Yacht Sales on board as a sponsor for this weekend's second annual Opti Masters Cup at Armdale Yacht Club! The Opti Masters Cup is a fundraiser for AYC Sailing school and it's community programs. It gets "masters" sailors out in optis for a day of fun, humbling competition and community connections.

Thank you to Atlantic Yacht Sales for your support!

Thank you very much to the many volunteers who helped make yesterday's regatta a great success:

Graham MacDougall for securing sponsorships and prizes and for running the snack boat!

Nancy Hartling for helping with the sign-in and welcoming visiting sailors at the doors!

Rob Field for letting us use his boat for RC and writing down the finishing order of boats as we yelled sail numbers to him 😆!

Elaine Schnare for picking up snacks, drinks and BBQ supplies for us!

Stuart Schnare, Paul Bezanson and Rob Gordon for bbqing all afternoon!

Samantha Askheim for helping Nancy with the welcome table and helping Graham with the snack boat!
