🛑 DRIVER RUNS SCHOOL BUS STOP SIGN IN BEDFORD

Yesterday around 3:00–3:30 p.m., a vehicle was caught on DashCam driving past a school bus with its stop sign extended on Amesbury Gate in Bedford.

When a school bus has its red lights flashing and stop sign extended, STOP. Children could be crossing the road at any moment.

Saving a few seconds is never worth putting a child’s life at risk.

🚨 CRASH CAUGHT ON DASHCAM — HIGHWAY 118 & MICMAC BLVD

This happened less than an hour ago at the intersection of Highway 118 and Micmac Blvd.

The DashCam footage shows a vehicle approaching traffic stopped at the intersection before slamming on the brakes and sliding directly into the rear of a vehicle waiting at the light.

🚨 VEHICLE APPEARS TO FOLLOW DRIVER THROUGH DARTMOUTH

This DashCam footage was submitted anonymously following an incident that began in the Dartmouth Crossing area.

According to the sender, the occupants of the two vehicles know each other and encountered one another earlier that evening at Walmart. The sender alleges that the other vehicle then began deliberately following them.

The footage shows the vehicles travelling from Dartmouth Crossing toward Albro Lake Road and eventually back onto Highway 111, with the same vehicle continuing behind them even as U-turns are made.

During the recorded incident, the following vehicle can also be seen going through a red light and swerving across the roadway, driving recklessly at one point appearing to nearly lose control while turning.

The sender believes the vehicle was deliberately following them and that the behaviour was intended to intimidate them.

Regardless of what led up to the incident, dangerous driving like what is captured in the footage can put everyone on the road at risk.

If you believe you’re being followed or threatened while driving, avoid confrontation and contact police when it is safe to do so.

USING THE MERGE LANE AS YOUR OWN PERSONAL PASSING LANE 🤦‍♂️

Video sent in from Highway 102 near the Dunbrack Street exit shows a driver continuing along the merge lane/shoulder to pass traffic instead of merging.

According to the sender, this wasn’t a one-time move either. The same driver had already done it at the previous interchange, driving through the merge lane to get ahead of traffic and cutting the sender off.

Not sure what this driver was thinking on Highway 107, but crossing a double solid yellow line and driving into the oncoming lane to pass vehicles isn’t worth the risk.

There are multiple designated passing sections along this highway. Wait for one — getting ahead a little sooner isn’t worth risking a head-on collision.

🚨 FULL ORIGINAL VIDEO — MACKAY BRIDGE ROAD RAGE INCIDENT

As promised, here is the full original DashCam footage from Friday evening’s road-rage incident on the MacKay Bridge.

Unlike the edited version posted earlier, this video includes the events leading up to the confrontation.

Before being cut off, you can hear the DashCam driver talking about the vehicle behind them riding extremely close and swerving back and forth.

The vehicle eventually attempts to pass, cuts in front of the DashCam vehicle and shortly afterward appears to brake-check them before coming to a complete stop on the MacKay Bridge during rush-hour traffic.

The driver then puts his vehicle in park, gets out, rushes toward the DashCam vehicle and begins banging on the window while confronting the driver.

Other motorists can be heard honking as traffic backs up, with the driver eventually turning his attention toward another motorist who was honking as well.

🚨 ROAD RAGE ERUPTS ON MACKAY BRIDGE DRIVER STOPS IN RUSH-HOUR TRAFFIC AND CONFRONTS DASHCAM DRIVER 🚨

Another disturbing road-rage incident was captured on DashCam Friday evening on the MacKay Bridge.

This edited version begins as the other vehicle cuts in front of the DashCam vehicle. Shortly afterward, the driver appears to brake-check them before coming to a complete stop on the MacKay Bridge during rush-hour traffic.

The driver puts his vehicle in park, gets out and rushes toward the DashCam vehicle, banging on the window while confronting the driver.

He can be heard yelling “Do you have a problem?”, calling the driver a “bitch” and using an ableist slur.

Meanwhile, traffic begins backing up on the bridge and multiple motorists can be heard laying on their horns. The driver then turns his attention toward another motorist who was honking and begins yelling at them as well.

Whatever disagreement happens on the road, stopping on a busy bridge during rush hour, getting out and confronting another motorist turns an already dangerous situation into something far worse.

🚨 WRONG LANE CONFUSION IN SYDNEY

Another example of why paying attention to lane markings matters.

This driver in Sydney, Nova Scotia, apparently confused the oncoming traffic lane for a turning lane, putting themselves directly where opposing traffic was supposed to be.

Definitely an example of what NOT to do. 🤦‍♂️
