Late last year, Apple reached out to MK to request information for a Mi'kmaw keyboard to include in their selection of default system keyboards.
We have received notice that the Mi'kmaw keyboard has been included in the releases of iOS/iPadOS 17, and macOS 14 "Sonoma" which has recently been launched. It can be added from Settings > General > Keyboard. Select “Keyboards” from the top of that screen, then “Add New Keyboard…” and select “Mi’kmaw”.

A new course in Fall 2023! Kisaknutmaqan: Peace & Friendship Treaties. Scholar, artist and community leader Aaron Prosper (Eskasoni First Nation) will teach this unique university course with Social Justice & Community Studies, which could not be more important or timely in this unceded territory of the L'nu'k.
