In Germany, one Easter tradition is to decorate trees with Easter eggs - these trees are called Ostereierbaum or, quite simply, Easter egg trees. Although we can't all attain such extravagant Easter trees as the pictured Saalfelder Ostereierbaum, you could easily make your own simple Easter Egg tree by taking a branch and decorating it with handmade eggs in your own home πŸ˜ŠπŸ£πŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺ

"look closely. Beauty can be very small. Live your life as if every action will become a universal law."
Immanuel Kant (1724–1804) is a central figure in modern philosophy, as he synthesized early modern rationalism and empiricism. He argues that human understanding is the source of the general laws of nature that structure all our experience, and that human reason gives itself the moral law, which is our basis for belief in God, freedom, and immortality.
Modern German philosophy students are taking a closer look at Kant, as well as other founders of both German Enlightenment and Idealism.
