📢 We Are Hiring! HLIC Summer Day Camp Staff 🌳🌊🌞

Are you passionate about working with kids? Do you have high energy and strong leadership skills? We're looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our Summer Camp Staff!

Responsibilities include leading summer camp groups with fellow camp staff for up to 20 children in grades 1 through 6. This involves caring for and assisting campers, making the day fun and engaging, leading activities (physically active), and ensuring child safety by closely monitoring the groups at all times. Staff must remain calm in child-centered environments and act as good role models.

Availability: Monday to Friday, 8AM to 5PM, July - August

Who We're Looking For:
🥳 Loves working with children
🏕️ Previous experience in summer camp leadership positions
⚽ Previous experience working with children
🌟 High energy, enthusiastic
📢 Leadership skills
📝 Organized, can multi-task

Requirements:
🏕️ Previous summer camp employment experience required
🚨 Vulnerable sector and criminal record check required if employed

Moving to Halifax to study English with HLIC?

Our homestay accommodations are an effective way to truly experience Canadian culture while furthering your language learning. By living with a homestay family, you will have the unique oppurtunity to learn and practice English outside of school with native-speaking locals.

Each homestay offers a private, comfortable room, including a desk, bed, closet and linens. The student will have access to common spaces, a shared kitchen, bathroom, and laundry facilities. Homestay fees include heat, hot water, and internet.
