It's officially School Bus Safety Week! Our annual School Bus Safety Campaign raises awareness for vehicles illegally passing school buses while stopped with red lights flashing, also known as Red Light Violations. The goal is to educate the public on the dangers of these violations, to engage school-aged children by providing school bus safety rules in a fun way, and to encourage parents to take the initiative to learn about and teach school bus safety.
Remember: If the Lights are Flashing, Don't Be Passing!
Thank you to Government of Nova Scotia Department of Public Works and SOUTHLAND Transportation for supporting this important campaign!

School bus safety isn’t just important for students and schools — it’s also crucial for the entire community. Remember: if a school bus’s red lights are flashing, it is illegal to pass. Always stay alert and aware while driving.
Thank you to our proud sponsor, Nova Scotia Department of Public Works, for helping us spread this vital message across the province.
