In celebration of , join us for this exciting event as we celebrate the important contributions, and discuss the challenges, faced by these esteemed Black women in electoral politics (the Honourable Dr. Wanda Thomas Bernard, the Honourable Twila Grosse, Angela Simmonds, Yvonne Atwell, Suzy Hansen, and Iona Stoddard.
This in-person panel will take place at the Black Cultural Centre for Nova Scotia at 10 Cherrybrook Road on Thursday, March 7th, 2024 at 5:30pm.
Volunteers are also welcomed to help out with the event! This is a great opportunity to network, and all volunteers will receive free transportation to and back from the event.Β
