Less than a week to go!! If you know someone new to our school community, please encourage them to join our PTP FB page.

There are a lot of different ways to get informed on what’s happening at school. Teacher emails, newsletters, school wide communications.

Here are a few useful links to have ready and available as the school year kicks off!

1- SCT webpage: https://sct.hrce.ca/home

This is updated regularly with monthly and upcoming calendar events. You can also access PTP and SAC news. A real hub for all things SCT.

2- HRCE school messenger app: https://apps.apple.com/ca/app/schoolmessenger/id978894818

This is a centralized system where all school wide communications will appear. This is also where you can report student absences.

3- PowerSchool : https://apps.apple.com/ca/app/powerschool-mobile/id973741088

This is where you can access report cards and attendance records.

4- HRCE (downloadable)calendar : https://www.hrce.ca/families/calendars

This will list all holidays, PD days and scheduled days off.

5- NS School Lunch Program: https://hrce.nslunch.ca/login

✨ Sensitive content

Many of our students had the opportunity to meet Peyton when her wish to ride the school bus and attend school came true at Sir Charles Tupper Elementary.
We are sharing this GoFundMe page for anyone who may wish to support Peyton and her family during this incredibly difficult time.
Out of respect for Peyton and her family's privacy, the details of her medical journey were not shared with students. We encourage families to use their own discretion if discussing this post with their children.
Our hearts are with Peyton, her family, and all those who love her.

It takes over 100 volunteers to come together for our biggest event of the year. Mix in some sunshine, and some baby goats, and it’s a pretty magical day !

We raised just about 10K today for our school community. For field trips, technology updates, playground improvements, classroom supplies. Because of you, we are able to support our students, honor our staff, and care for our school.

And we have fun doing it🤩

SCT-thank you. Thank your for your generous donations, thank you for your time, thank you for always showing up.

One of the most exciting Silent Auction items at this year's Spring Fling is a truly unique prize: a custom-built go-kart designed by Mr. vanderMolen and built alongside his students.

🔥 THE GO-KART EVERYONE WILL WANT 🔥

The original.

The only one.

The last one.

As Mr. vanderMolen prepares for retirement, this one-of-a-kind creation represents years of creativity, craftsmanship, and student learning. There will never be another one like it.

Don't miss your chance to take home this incredible piece of Tupper history—place your bid at the Spring Fling silent auction on Saturday!

The Spring Fling countdown is on! 🤩

We are still seeking volunteers for the day of the event! The more volunteers, the more activities we are able to run. Help needed for stuffy jail, craft room, canteen, inflatables, and clean-up.

If you are considering volunteering, please sign up so we know we can run all the events:
