Our goal is to enable each student to reach for their own personal excellence within a caring Christian environment. RCA offers students the opportunity to achieve success through academics, athletics, music, dram, community service and many other avenues. We believe strongly in encouraging leadership and give students of all ages the chance to lead, mentor, and encourage others. We seek to offer students a safe, happy environment in which to learn, play, and thrive. RCA offers a “neo-classical” Christian learning environment; “classical” in terms of its focus upon the teaching and learning of foundational knowledge in the early years of education, and “neo-=classical” in terms of its daily teaching of French, plus the incorporation of computer and internet educational programs for all grades. Basic skills including handwriting, grammar, mental arithmetic, and spelling are necessary to excel at RCA – students who come from other schools where these skills are not taught are offered intensive math and grammar classes in order to enable them to function successfully at grade level. Beyond academics RCA offers grade school student the opportunity to participate in a full range of sports including swimming, soccer, badminton, curling, volleyball, and more. RCA competes in these sports against other Christian schools in tournaments run by both Edvance and CAASO. RCA also offers a full music program with opportunities to participate open to all. RCA encourages its students to become beacons of light for Christ by walking their faith daily. Students are taught to treat each other as Jesus commanded”…love your neighbor as yourself” Matthew 19:19. It is our hope and prayer that students who graduated from RCA will become Christian leaders in all walks of life.
