✨ Chakras & Precious Stones πŸ’ŽπŸŒˆ

Since ancient times, gemstones were used in Jyotish as subtle remedies connected with the planets πŸͺ. They were not seen as something that can β€œswitch on” spirituality, but rather as gentle supports that may bring a little more harmony and balance into our lives ✨

The same idea can be beautifully connected with the chakras. Each chakra carries certain qualities, and some precious stones reflect those qualities through their colour, vibration, and symbolism. But it is important to understand this softly: stones do not truly activate the chakras on their own. The chakras are living spiritual centres, and real awakening comes from within through meditation and inner growth πŸ•ŠοΈ

Still, stones can feel like quiet companions on the journey πŸ’«

πŸ’š Nabhi β€” emerald
❀️πŸ”₯ Heart β€” ruby
πŸ”΅ Vishuddhi β€” blue topaz
πŸ’Ž Agnya β€” diamond
🀍 Sahasrara β€” pearl

So perhaps gemstones are best seen not as tools of activation, but as symbols of harmony 🌸 They may help us remember the qualities we want to nourish within ourselves β€” innocence, creativity, balance, love, communication, forgiveness, and peace.

The real light is already inside us ✨
The stone simply reflects it.

You are naturally reaching back to Yoga in the proper understanding that it has once been the right way which should still be the right way for our time. But the world has become wrong and nobody listens to the old ways any more, in spite of the fact that the underlying truth is still true. ~Carl Jung, Letters Vol. II, Pages 385-386.

At the very top of the subtle system lies the Sahasrara chakra, the crown center. In Sahaja Yoga it is considered the point where the whole system integrates β€” where all the chakras come together and where the individual consciousness meets the universal one.

In our physical body this center corresponds to the limbic area of the brain. Interestingly, even modern science still considers parts of this region somewhat mysterious. The limbic system is involved in emotions, deep perception, memory, and the sense of inner experience. Despite decades of research, many aspects of how this area creates our sense of awareness and inner state are still not fully understood.

In Sahaja Yoga this mystery is approached from another angle. When the Kundalini energy rises through the subtle system and pierces the Sahasrara, something very simple yet profound happens: the mind becomes quiet.

Not forced silence, not concentration β€” but a natural state called thoughtless awareness.

For the first time, the attention becomes calm and clear. Thoughts slow down, and a gentle cool breeze can often be felt on the fingertips or above the top of the head. In Sahaja Yoga this sensation is called vibrations, and it is considered the living expression of the Spirit.

When Sahasrara is open and nourished, we begin to experience:

✨ inner silence
✨ a sense of connection with others
✨ joy without any obvious reason
✨ clarity and balance in decisions

It is often symbolized as a lotus with a thousand petals. A lotus that opens not outside, but inside our awareness.

Meditation in Sahaja Yoga is very simple: we just place our attention gently on the top of the head, allow the Kundalini to rise, and rest in the silence that appears.

And in that silence, many people discover something unexpected β€”
that the peace they were searching for was already within them. 🌿

"Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a giftβ€”that's why it's called the present." This famous quote, often attributed to Eleanor Roosevelt or Master Oogway in Kung Fu Panda, emphasizes living in the moment, appreciating the "present" as a gift, and not dwelling on the past or worrying about the unknown future.

The modern yogas are just some sort of a wee part of something. That is really not yoga I would say. Like rajyoga these days, is practiced in a very wrong way where they are doing some sort of exercises which are not spontaneous. Like if you start your car with the ignition the car starts moving by itself and the machinery also moves with it spontaneously. You don’t have to do any exercise for that. In the same way when the kundalini rises to achieve this union the machinery which is within you (which you will see here also) start acting automatically because it is built for that.

🌿 Shakambhari Devi – The Nourishing Mother 🌾 As winter slowly releases its grip and the earth begins to soften again, we naturally turn our attention to gardens, soil, seeds, and new life. This transition is beautifully reflected in the energy of Shakambhari Devi β€” the Goddess of nourishment, forests, vegetation, and harvest.

The name Shakambhari literally means β€œShe who bears vegetables and greens.” In ancient stories, when the world suffered from drought and famine, the Divine Mother manifested as Shakambhari, covering the earth with fruits, grains, and healing plants. She restored balance not through force β€” but through nourishment.

In Sahaja understanding, She is an aspect of the Divine Mother, closely connected with Durga β€” the protective power within us. Shri Durga governs our Center Heart (Anahata chakra) β€” the seat of courage, security, and motherly protection.

When this center is strong:
β€’ We feel confident but humble
β€’ Protected but open
β€’ Grounded in responsibility
β€’ Ready to care for others

🌳 Shakambhari Devi reminds us that true strength is nurturing strength.

As the snow melts and we prepare our yards, plant seeds, or volunteer in community gardens, this is not just physical work. It is a spiritual act. Working with the earth:
β€’ Grounds the Mooladhara
β€’ Strengthens the Heart
β€’ Connects us to the living Mother Earth
β€’ Awakens gratitude

Perhaps this season, as you clean your garden bed or join a local community planting initiative, pause for a moment. Feel the cool breeze. Offer your attention to the heart. Ask within:
β€œAm I nourishing the world around me?”

Spring is coming. The soil will soon be ready.
And so are we. πŸŒ±πŸ’š

🌸 Kundalini β€” the Inner Mother Energy 🌸

In ancient yogic scriptures, the subtle energy within the human being is described as a living, intelligent power resting at the base of the spine. In Sanskrit it is called Kundalini β€” the coiled energy of pure potential.

In the tradition of Sahaja Yoga, this awakening is not forced, not imagined, not achieved through strain.
It is spontaneous (sahaja = β€œborn with you”).

When awakened gently through meditation, this energy rises through the subtle system and nourishes the chakras from within 🌿

✨ How can you know it is real?
Sahaja Yoga describes a tangible experience:

β€’ A cool breeze felt on the fingertips (each finger connected to a chakra)
β€’ A subtle cool flow above the head, at the Sahasrara (7th chakra)
β€’ A state of thoughtless awareness β€” alert, but without mental noise

This β€œcool breeze” is mentioned symbolically in many spiritual traditions as the living wind or Spirit 🌬️

πŸ§˜β€β™€οΈ What changes after awakening?

β€’ Nervous system balances (sympathetic & parasympathetic harmonize)
β€’ Emotional reactions become less extreme
β€’ Attention becomes steady
β€’ Sleep improves
β€’ Inner security increases
β€’ Meditation becomes natural, not a struggle

The key point:
You do not create Kundalini.
You allow it to awaken and guide your inner evolution.

It is not belief.
It is experience.

Have you ever felt cool vibrations in meditation? 🌬️
