EWB is a club for students from all different backgrounds. We are outraged and hopeful. We seek to unlock potential by investing in leaders today and tomorrow.
We are striving to create systemic change and accelerate global development. EWB is dedicated to bringing people and ideas together to tackle some of the world’s most serious problems. Here in Guelph, we do that by holding meetings about topics we’re passionate about, having fun events, volunteering, and getting involved in local politics. Nationally, there are 35+ chapters across Canada that work

We had a weekend at Camp Kawartha full of snowy trails and late-night games with lots and lots of laughter !! It was the perfect time to unplug and build community. We are so grateful for the fun times and memories we will cherish forever!

Hey everyone, we have updates on our new water filter project! We’re currently researching various filtration methods to hopefully implement in communities in Ontario. Our plan is to create a functioning prototype to test in a home environment. If this sounds interesting, be sure to come to our project meeting next week! 💡🌎

We’re starting president applications for the next academic year a little earlier this year, as we’re hoping to have an overlap with the new president(s) so that the transition will be smoother. If you are interested in being co-president but don’t have someone specific in mind yet, feel free to include that in your application. Applications are due on February 16th.

Earlier this month some of our members attended the EWB xChange Conference hosted by EWB UofT!
It was a great opportunity to meet everyone and learn about renewable energy and sustainable development. 2 of our members also earned first place in the collaboration event! Thank you to for hosting such a great event!
