At North 44 Nature Preschool, we believe the best classroom is the great outdoors. Our days are filled with awe-inspiring moments of discovery, hands-on learning, and the joy of connecting with nature. We foster curiosity, build resilience, and spark a lifelong love for learning through direct experience.

We are licensed for children 2.5 to 6 years old, offer full time care funded through the CWELCC program, and you can join the waitlist through the OneHSN centralized lists.

North 44 Nature Preschool is now accepting enrollments for an October start 🍄 🍂. If your child was born in 2021, 2022, or 2023, and will be at least 27-30 months by October (plus potty trained), we might have a spot for you!

Our new location at 1453 Gordon St. will be fully renovated with all new amenities. You’ll find the entrance on Heritage Drive, and we’ll be taking our adventures along the beautiful forests, meadows, and trails of Dodge Lane that starts on Dawn Ave and passing through Lewis Farm Park (never along Gordon Street).

We currently offer flexible full-time for $478.50 per month. Whether your child attends every day or you create a part-time schedule that fits your family’s needs, we are happy to accommodate!

Children are also nurtured through our school food program. Our Red Seal chef freshly prepares a seasonal three-course lunch along with two snacks daily, all in our school kitchen. Students and teachers enjoy meals and snacks together to create a positive and mindful eating experience. We aim to source organic and local ingredients whenever possible. Best of all, these meals are included in the tuition! 🥕🥔🍌🍎🧄🥬🥒🫜🍚🥣

We will be doing a potluck at the "Statue Forest," but bringing food to share is not mandatory. However, please bring your own dishes to eat with, your own drinks, and a chair (or blanket) if you wish.

Just a reminder that registration for kindergarten is due March 15 ✨️ 🌱🌈 🌞

Acceptance offers will be going out on March 18th, at which point the deposits will be required to reserve your child's spot (and those will be due March 22)

Going for adventures every day and seeing things like this makes North 44 a special place to be! 🌞🌈🌱🪺🪱

The preschool and elementary classes have spotted where a beaver has been busy! Seeing trees where a beaver chewed shows us how animals can change their environment to suit their needs. It's like a little piece of nature's engineering!

Keeping our eyes out for the dam and lodge helps us understand how beavers build their homes and create habitats for other animals, too! ✨️

Plus, it's a great opportunity for kids to learn about different animals and their habits. 🌳🦫

FYI - the preschool menu will only be posted to the private preschool classroom pages (as our elementary program does not follow this menu and it gets confusing)
