Grade 4 students at Holy Trinity brought Ontario Day to life by exploring the benefits of choosing locally sourced foods.🌱🍓 Students discovered which foods are grown in Ontario, what’s in season, and used their creativity to highlight locally-sourced foods in a classroom smoothie challenge.
A big thank you to Zehrs on Eramosa Road and Foodland in Mount Forest for providing ingredients and supplies to support this delicious learning experience.

In recognition of National Indigenous History Month, St. Francis students had the opportunity to learn more about the game of lacrosse🥍
Mekwan Tulpin from Onkwehonwe Games educated students on the origins of the Creator’s Game and guided them through a variety of lacrosse skills and drills. A meaningful, hands-on learning experience that honoured culture, tradition, and the spirit of the game.

Grade 11 & 12 French students at St. James brought language to life at their 2nd annual Journée d’inclusion francophone ✨🌎
Students created an immersive Un voyage à Madagascar–themed workshop for their Special Education peers - sparking curiosity, deepening language learning, and sharing their passion for French.

A huge congratulations to Kira E, grade 10 student at Our Lady of Lourdes, for her amazing work at the Canada-Wide Science Fair! Kira spent last week in Edmonton showcasing her project on squirrel vision and decision making alongside other top young innovators from across the country. She was awarded the Excellence Award, Intermediate - Silver Medal and Challenge Award, Intermediate for Curiosity and Ingenuity.

Students at St. Michael Catholic Elementary School rolled up their sleeves and had a blast learning how to make pasta! 🍝
Last week, students in Grades 3-6 participated in Ms. Cheaney's Cucina and had the opportunity to make pasta from scratch, creating a delicious snack that they cooked and enjoyed that afternoon. A big thank-you to Ms. Cheaney for leading such a fun and engaging activity! 💫

Congratulations to our students who participated in the Skills Ontario Provincial Competition! 👏
Students from each of our high schools qualified for the event and did an amazing job showcasing their skills alongside their peers from across the province.
Congrats to Abi D, Sebastian K, and Dylan F who demonstrated their creative talents in the graphic design.
