Overheard at a Chapter Meeting: A founder shared what they wished they knew in the early startup stage. A few people took notes, a few people shook their heads in agreement. Which one are you?

One business owner at the table shared how they kept waiting for the crash before taking capacity seriously.

It might look like saying yes to too much, putting yourself last or treating exhaustion like proof you work hard enough.

The hard-earned lesson she shared with the table was that burnout rarely shows up suddenly, all at once and you must protect your biggest asset: designing the way you’re operating before your body forces the issue.

Let’s play ball!

Summer can be slower for some businesses. But there might *also* be a different way to look at it.

The people who do show up in the summer are often serious, motivated, ready to go and wanting to get things in motion before September arrives and everyone else steps back into action.

So maybe the CEO move isn’t all or nothing.

Maybe it’s more like rest AND stay visible.

Recharge and nurture relationships AND take the slower pace without fully checking out.
